Publicación Acceso abierto Posibles interacciones medicamentosas potenciales en prescripciones médicas con antibacterianos dispensados en la botica Inkafarma Lince Enero–junio 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-02-17) Chavez Chavez, Flor Magali; Ramos Evangelista, Isabel; Justil Guerrero, Hugo JesúsThe present research aims to: Identify potential drug interactions (PDI) in medical prescriptions with antibacterial agents. Methodology: Deductive method, quantitative approach, basic type, descriptive level, non-experimental, retrospective cross-sectional design. A total of 278 medical prescriptions with antibacterial agents dispensed at the Inkafarma pharmacy in Lince were analyzed. The technique used was Observational Document Analysis, and the instrument employed was a data collection sheet. Results: The prevalence was 74.8% with no PDI and 25.2% with PDI. According to severity, 12.8% had moderate severity, and 7.4% had major severity. The most frequent interaction type was Pharmacokinetics (14.2%) and Pharmacodynamics (12.1%). Regarding the level of clinical evidence, 21.6% had excellent evidence. Among antibacterial pharmacological groups, quinolones had the highest frequency of PDI at 16.0%. The most common potential interactions included Levofloxacin + Dexamethasone (3.5%), Ciprofloxacin + Omeprazole (1.1%), Clarithromycin + Esomeprazole (1.4%), and Diclofenac + Ciprofloxacin (1.1%). Conclusion: We can state that the potential drug interactions in the 278 medical prescriptions with antibacterial agents were 25.2%, while 74.8% showed no interactions.
