Publicación Acceso abierto Nivel de conocimiento de la vacuna contra SARS-CoV-2 y la disposición a vacunarse de los pobladores que asisten a la botica Mathias, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-10-14) Chumacero Castillo, José de la Rosa; Flores Palomino, Angel Jhonatan; Ramos Jaco, Antonio GuillermoThe objective was to determine the level of knowledge and attitude toward SARS-CoV-2 vaccination among residents visiting the Mathias Drugstore. Methodology: An inductive method was used, with a quali-quantitative approach. The research type was basic prospective, and the design was non-experimental. The sample consisted of 150 people visiting the drugstore during September and October 2021. Non-probabilistic convenience sampling was used. The data collection technique was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire validated by three university professionals. Data processing was performed using Excel and Word. Results: Of 384 people surveyed, 74.22% were female, 56.66% were married, 63.54% had a secondary education, and 64.03% had a history of COVID-19. Regarding knowledge level, 74% had good knowledge of the vaccine type, 55.7% had good information about the vaccine, and 56.3% had good knowledge about vaccine myths. For attitude, 82.6% agreed with the cognitive disposition toward vaccination, 75.5% agreed with the behavioral disposition, and 77.3% agreed with the emotional disposition. Conclusions: The level of knowledge about the vaccine was good, and there was agreement in cognitive, behavioral, and emotional attitude among the surveyed adult population.
