Materials and methods: It was a hypothetical deductive investigation, with a quantitative approach, with a non experimental cross-sectional correlational design. The variables transformational leadership and work commitment were analyzed in a population of 132 nursing professionals who work at the Lima Este Vitarte Hospital in the Ate Vitarte district. Two questionnaire-type instruments were used for transformational leadership with a Cronbach's alpha reliability of 0.975 and for the Work Commitment variable with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.933. Results: It was found that 31.8% of nursing professionals consider that transformational leadership in their workplace is good, while 85.6% indicated that work commitment in their workplace is high. Conclusion: The significance level was found to be 0.000 < 0.05 and the rho =0.350, which means that there is a significant relationship between transformational leadership and the work commitment of the nursing professional at the Hospital de Lima Este, 2024.
