Of the 10 systematically reviewed articles, 40% (n= 4/10) are systematic reviews, 30% (n= 3/10) are quantitative studies, 20% (n= 2/10) are cross-sectional studies and 10% (n= 1/10) is a bibliographic review. The results found in the systematic review of the present study, are from the countries of the USA (20%) followed by Portugal (10%), Canada (10%), Spain (10%), Chile (10%), Iran (10%), England (10%), Norway (10%) and the United Kingdom (10%). Results: Similarly, the evidence indicates that 70% (n = 7/10) indicate that the various leadership styles in nursing generate an effect on patient satisfaction and 30% (n = 3/10) show no effect because they do not present statistical significance. Conclusion: The development of nursing leadership styles generates an effect on patient satisfaction.
