Ítem Acceso abierto Risk of therapeutic compliance in tuberculosis patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-12-25) Cordova Cardenas, Gloria Elizabet; Zavala Yaya, Rosa Nelly; Glenni Garay, Zarely ZabeliMaterials and Methods: Type of quantitative research and the design was a systematic review that synthesizes the results of multiple investigations, identifying the most relevant data to answer specific questions of daily practice. Population: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen, 30% correspond to the country of Ethiopia, 10% to Kenya and 10% Eritrea. Furthermore, 30% of evidence was developed in America, 10% Brazil, 10% Peru and 10% in Colombia, likewise 10% evidence was developed in Iran and 10% in Kosovo. These are mostly cross-sectional studies (50%), systematic reviews (20%), cases and control (20%) and exploratory descriptive (10%). Results: 100% of the studies affirm that there is a risk of therapeutic compliance in patients with tuberculosis. Conclusions: 50% of the studies concluded that there is a risk of therapeutic compliance in patients with tuberculosis whose main risk was the lack of communication between the patient and health personnel. 30% of the studies focused on the lack of patient education about the disease and 20% of the studies supported the non-application of the DOTS strategy as a risk of therapeutic compliance in patients with tuberculosis.
