Ítem Acceso abierto Work stress in the nursing staff working in the Covid-19 hospitalization service of the Daniel Alcides Carrión hospital(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-05-14) Coronado Panta, Lilia Isabel; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeThis research will be descriptive, as it will only quantify and describe job stress among nursing staff. It will also be a cross-sectional study. As for the instruments, the Burnout Syndrome will be measured using the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). The population will consist of 125 healthcare personnel working in the COVID-19 hospitalization service at Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital, and the sample will be 94 nursing professionals working in the COVID-19 hospitalization service at the same hospital, as stated by Valderrama (2019, p.399). Criterion validation is established with the Pearson correlation applied to the dimensions of the job stress variable. The analysis results show that the variable job stress has a positive relationship with empathetic affinity, with a value of 0.860, indicating a very high correlation. When job stress is related to emotional exhaustion and depersonalization, the values are 0.740 and 0.783, which are considered moderate and high correlations, respectively. In contrast, the relationship between job stress and personal accomplishment has a value of 0.550, which is considered a moderate correlation.
