    Healthy lifestyles and risk of cardiovascular disease in patients in a hospital in the San Martín Region – 2023

    Worldwide, cardiovascular diseases are considered the leading cause of mortality where each year their figures are increasing unlike any other disease, however, thanks to many investigations, certain important variables have been determined that make the probabilities that a person presenting cardiovascular diseases, based on the relationship with lifestyle and modifiable risk, so that a better lifestyle and risk modifications can decrease their morbidity and mortality. The objective of this research project will be to determine the relationship between healthy lifestyles and cardiovascular disease risk in patients at a hospital in the San Martín Region - 2023. The study will have a hypothetical deductive research method, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The population and sample will be 50 patients hospitalized in the medical service of a hospital in the San Martin Region. As a data collection technique and instrument: the PEPS-II Health-Promoting Lifestyle Profile Questionnaire and the cardiovascular risk calculator prepared by the WHO will be used. The results will be collected, processed and entered into the statistical program SPSS 25.
