Materials and Methods: This study is a systematic review of 10 national Spanish-language articles. Boolean algorithms and operators used included: Fulfillment AND immunization schedule OR children OR mother, Immunization schedule AND children under 5 years. Results: Key findings show a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and vaccination schedule compliance in children under 5, facilitated by nurse support in immunization clinics. Adolescent mothers with lower levels of knowledge have higher percentages of incomplete vaccination schedules in their children, who also tend to suffer from malnutrition, risking both their health and intellectual capacities. Conclusions: There is a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and vaccination compliance, with adolescents being more likely to have incomplete vaccination schedules for their children.
