Tota - Boyacá 2016 ", had as aim determine the relation between Use of the technologies of the information and the communication and the performance of the teachers, implied approaching a methodology of descriptive type and correlacional, of quantitative character, the compilation of the information was realized by means of the application of a questionnaire, validated across the Technology Delphi and in reliability by means of a test of pilotage applied to 10 teachers with Alpha de Cronbach to determine the fulfillment or not of the hypothesis the method of the Chi-square was in use, indicating in what measure the relation exists between the variables. The results of the investigation demonstrated that every competition had a moderate level of use of the technology of the information and communication with 70 % the technological competitions, 47 % communicative competitions and also 47 % investigative competitions , as the relation with the educational performance was obtained statistically sufficiently by one p = <0,0001. Nevertheless the values expressed by competition were 0,986: technological, 0,985: Communicative and 0,944: investigative; in the lowest score they need more attention on the part of the teachers in the appropriation of the technological resources to maintain the strategies in the classroom and to improve the educational quality.
