    Maternal eating practices and nutritional status in children under 5 years old attended at the Querocoto Health Center, Cajamarca - 2021

    The objective of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal feeding practices and nutritional status in children under 5 years of age attending the Querocoto Health Center, Cajamarca – 2021. The methodology used was observational, correlational, and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 95 mothers of children under 5 years old enrolled in the Growth and Development Program at the aforementioned health center. The Chi-square test was used to address the stated objectives. The results showed adequate maternal feeding practices (97.9%), and the children demonstrated normal weight-for-age (90.5%), normal weight-for-height (76.8%), and normal height-for-age (78.9%).
