Ítem Acceso abierto Burnout syndrome in nursing staff in the COVID-19 area at National Arzobispo Loayza Hospital, 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-09-11) Culquicondor Criollo, Rene; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeObjective: Determine the level of burnout syndrome in the nursing staff of the COVID 19 hospitalization area at the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital, 2020 Material and method: The type of research is descriptive, cross-sectional, with a quantitative, observational approach; in which a total of 63 nursing graduates from the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital were included; using the Maslasch Burnout Inventory as an instrument, which had an adequate internal consistency of 0.777. Results: The level of the emotional exhaustion dimension was low in 68.3%, followed by 17.5% with a medium level; Regarding the depersonalization dimension, a low level was obtained in 60.3%, 33.3% had a medium level; and in the dimension of personal fulfillment they obtained a high level in 41.3%, and 33.3% had a low level. Regarding Burnout syndrome, 44.4% had a medium level, 39.7% had a low level and 15.9% obtained a high level of this syndrome. Conclusions: It is concluded that the level of Burnout syndrome among the nursing graduates in the COVID 19 area at the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital during the year 2020 is average at 44.4%.
