Publicación Acceso abierto Estrés y desempeño laboral en el profesional de enfermería del hospital psiquiátrico Víctor Larco Herrera de Lima, 2022.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-08-24) Cuya Calderón, Beatriz Maribel; Hermoza Moquillaza, Rocio VictoriaObjetivo del estudio: Determinar como el nivel de estrés se relaciona con el desempeño laboral en el profesional de enfermería del Hospital Psiquiátrico Víctor Larco Herrera de lima, 2022. Métodos: Enfoque cuantitativo, tipo aplicada de alcance correlacional, no experimental, descriptivo, de corte transversal. La técnica empleada fue la entrevista, la muestra se trabajó con el personal profesional de Enfermería que cumplieron los criterios de selección. Fue realizado en una muestra total de 100 enfermeros. La variable 1 fue “Estrés laboral” y la variable 2 “Desempeño laboral”. El instrumento para la variable 1 fue validado por juicio de expertos, prueba piloto y confiabilidad, cuenta con 12 ítems con seis alternativas de respuesta (Nunca, casi nunca, pocas veces, algunas veces, relativamente frecuente y muy frecuente), el alfa de Cronbach fue de 0,897. El instrumento para la variable 2 también fue validado por Juicio de expertos con un alfa de Cronbach de 0,924, cuenta con 21 ítems con cuatro alternativas de respuesta (nunca, algunas veces, frecuentemente y siempre). Resultado: el grado de correlación entre las variables de Estrés y Desempeño Laboral fue por el Rho de Spearman. La población que presenta estrés el 71,9% presenta un nivel bajo/medio de desempeño laboral, mientras que los que no presentaron estrés, el 75% presenta un nivel alto de desempeño laboral. The study population will consist of the direct family members of users with schizophrenia hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital in Lima in the year 2020. The population will be selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Materials and Methods: This research is quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional in design. The population consisted of 67 family caregivers whose patients were hospitalized in the mentioned institution. The instruments used were the Coping Strategies Inventory (CSI), which measures the degree of use of eight coping strategies in stressful situations, and the Zarit Caregiver Burden Scale, which measures the level of caregiver burden. Results: A correlation exists between the use of coping strategies and the level of caregiver burden in family caregivers of patients with schizophrenia. The Spearman correlation test yielded a correlation index of 0.146 (p < 0.05) and a significance index of 0.039. Among the most relevant coping strategy dimensions were: Desirability thinking (71.6%), avoidance of problems, and emotional expression (65.7%). Regarding burden, 35.8% experienced minimal and mild burden, while 28.4% had intense burden. Conclusions: A significant, directly proportional, and positive relationship exists between the use of coping strategies and caregiver burden.
