    Cervicalgia is one of the main musculoskeletal disorders, being a painful syndrome that affects the vertebral, muscular, and ligamentous structures in the cervical region. Worldwide, cervicalgia represented a highly prevalent condition with 288.7 million cases. The elderly population is one of the most vulnerable to cervicalgia, as aging is associated with degenerative chronic diseases of the cervical spine, which occurs along with lumbar and cervical pain. The Cervical Disability Index questionnaire will be used as an instrument to collect information to evaluate the self-perception of disability in patients with neck pain, as it is an easily accessible tool.
