    Identificación de errores de prescripción en esquemas de quimioterapia de pacientes oncológicos de la Clínica Internacional, enero a diciembre de 2020

    The objective was to identify prescription errors in chemotherapy regimens for oncology patients at the Clínica Internacional from January to December 2020. The methodology had a quantitative approach, applied type, descriptive level, and non-experimental design. The data collection technique was observation, and the instrument used was a data collection sheet applied to 371 chemotherapy regimens. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics presented in tables and figures. Conclusion: A total of 990 prescription errors were identified in 371 chemotherapy regimens for oncology patients treated at the Clínica Internacional during the period from January to December 2020. Furthermore, it was found that the highest proportion of prescription errors per chemotherapy regimen was 3 errors per regimen, representing 22%.
