It included 35 women in labor who participated in six sessions of obstetric psychoprophylaxis, as recorded in the Obstetric Psychoprophylaxis logbook, with clinical histories used to collect data on labor and newborn outcomes. Results: Of the 35 women who received obstetric psychoprophylaxis sessions during pregnancy, 85.7% had vaginal deliveries, and 14.3% underwent scheduled cesarean sections. Among the women who arrived through emergency care, 76.7% presented with cervical dilation between 0–3 cm. Of those with vaginal deliveries, 66.7% underwent episiotomies. In 86.7% of cases, the total duration of vaginal labor was less than 10 hours. At five minutes postpartum, 100% of the newborns had an Apgar score greater than 8. All newborns weighed between 2,500 and 4,000 grams. Conclusion: Obstetric psychoprophylaxis is essential for achieving favorable outcomes during labor and delivery, as well as for newborn outcomes in primiparous women. In 86.7% of cases, the total duration of vaginal labor was under 10 hours. Additionally, normal Apgar scores and weights were observed in all newborns, with no neonatal complications.
