    Quality of nursing care and satisfaction of older adults in the medicine service of a hospital in Lima-2023

    Introduction: The growing number of older adults worldwide presents various challenges for the healthcare system regarding the quality of care provided. These patients require specialized care tailored to their individual needs to ensure their satisfaction during their stay in healthcare facilities. Objective: To determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and the satisfaction of older adults in the medical service of a hospital in Lima-2023. Methodology: The study will use a hypothetical-deductive method, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional design, involving a sample population of 50 older adult patients. A questionnaire will be used as an instrument to assess the variable "quality of nursing care," consisting of 32 items, and another questionnaire for the variable "satisfaction," consisting of 46 items.This approach aims to collect the necessary information for statistical processing and identify results regarding the quality of nursing care and the satisfaction of older adults, which will then be contrasted with previous studies for analysis and discussion of the results.
