    Ergonomic risks to which nursing personnel are exposed in a sterilization plant

    Objective: Systematize the evidence of the ergonomic risks to which nursing staff are exposed in the sterilization center. Material and Methods: Systematic review that summarizes the search results of various investigations subjected to critical selection and found in full text, using the Grade evaluation system to identify the degree of evidence. The selection of the 06 articles on ergonomic risks corresponds to Brazil with 50% (3), Spain 30% (2) and Chile 10% (1), which were analyzed and demonstrated to have repercussions on ergonomic risks from the international and national reality. Results: 50% state that repetitive movements, handling of loads, and uncomfortable postures are the ergonomic risks to which nursing staff at the sterilization center are exposed. Conclusions: It is evident that the ergonomic risks to which nursing staff are exposed in a sterilization center are musculoskeletal discomfort, due to prolonged standing, repetitive movements and excessive physical loads, especially with the arms.
