Ítem Acceso abierto Coping strategies and stress in nurses in the emergency service of a hospital in Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-10-22) De La Cruz Torres, Nathali Clara; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaObjective: To determine coping strategies and their relationship with stress in emergency service nurses. Methodology: Quantitative study, applied type, hypothetical deductive method, non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional design, where a population of 80 nursing professionals will be considered to measure the two variables, the survey was chosen as the technique and the questionnaires as the instrument, to measure for the variable coping with work stress, the Coping with Stress Questionnaire (CAE) will be used and to measure stress the work stress scale will be used. This was created by Gray-Toft and Anderson in 1981 and has been adapted to the Peruvian context by Julia Elvira. Cazal Dueñas in 2017. The instruments were subjected to expert judgment to corroborate the relevance and coherence with the study variables, likewise the reliability was given through the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, the data will be processed in an Excel matrix to then be analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics applying Spearman's Rho hypothesis test; Likewise, ethical principles will be complied with throughout the research process.
