    The problem in COVID-19 hospitalized patients has been associated with alterations in pulmonary functional capacity, reflected in the peak expiratory flow, leading to functional dysfunction for patient reintegration and recovery. Additionally, the prolonged stay due to COVID-19 has caused musculoskeletal alterations, which are associated with peripheral muscle strength, leading to functional deconditioning in COVID-19 patients.
