    The present research study was carried out in a higher educational institution, located in the Callao Region, the objective of the research was to determine the relationship between management of human talent and the performance of the teacher who investigates in a higher educational institution of the constitutional province of Callao . It was a study with a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and correlational approach, with a non-experimental design. The instruments were two questionnaires, the first to measure the management of human talent and the other to measure the performance of the teacher who investigates, which were validated by experts (p = 0.002 and p = 0.015), and with a reliability of Cronbach's alpha ( α = 0.823 and α = 0.809). The study sample took into account 70 teachers, calculated by statistical proportion formula and with simple random probability sampling. The Spearman correlation coefficient was applied to test the relationship of the variables human talent management and research teacher performance. Results: There is a direct (rho Spearman = 0.546) and significant (p = 0.00) relationship between the management of human talent and the performance of the teacher who researches in a higher educational institution in the Callao region, 2021. It is evidenced that the application of a Adequate management of human talent is related to an adequate performance of the teacher who investigates, in a higher educational institution.
