The objective was to determine the prevalence of self-medication with Ivermectin during the COVID-19 pandemic among users of the MIFARMAC drugstore in the San Juan de Lurigancho district, Metropolitan Lima, in the first semester of 2021. Methodology: This was a descriptive-observational study where the instrument was a validated questionnaire applied to 385 users. Results: A high prevalence of self-medication with Ivermectin (62.33%) was found. 59.2% of users knew about its use, 36.7% consumed it once a month, and the most consumed pharmaceutical form was drops (94.6%). Regarding unwanted effects, 66.3% reported no major effects. 76.7% knew about the origin of COVID-19 and 89.7% knew its symptoms. 86.7% were aware of preventive measures, and 95.8% knew the concept of self-medication. Conclusion: The prevalence of self-medication with Ivermectin during the COVID-19 pandemic is high, at 62.33% of the total sample.
