Materials and Methods: The analysis technique employed was the development of summary tables and intensive critical evaluation of the articles according to established technical criteria. Results: The studies reviewed, comprising 8 articles, have a high recommendation strength; 50% of them originated from Spain, while the other 50% was divided between Chile, Venezuela, Colombia, and Costa Rica, with the majority being case-control designs. It was a systematic review involving a population of 8 scientific articles published in indexed journals, which were obtained from the databases Dialnet, Lilacs, Scielo, EbscoHost, and Proquest. Materials and Methods: The analysis technique employed was the development of summary tables and intensive critical evaluation of the articles according to established technical criteria.
