A quantitative methodology was used, with a non-experimental and correlational design, applying validated questionnaires to a census sample of 120 firefighters. Data collection focused on individual, occupational, and ergonomic factors associated with these conditions. Among the main descriptive results, 68.3% of the participants showed a moderate level of musculoskeletal disorders, while 11.7% reported severe symptoms. The hypothesis test results indicated a significant association between age (p=0.002), sex (p=0.003), work experience (p=0.000), and physical activity (p=0.002) with musculoskeletal disorders. Cramer's V coefficient revealed a moderate influence of sex (V=0.314) and physical activity (V=0.367), while the applied force had a lower influence (V=0.212). In conclusion, the research confirms the existence of individual, occupational, and ergonomic factors related to musculoskeletal disorders in this population. These findings highlight the importance of implementing prevention programs, ergonomics, and promoting physical activity to reduce the incidence of these conditions and improve the well-being of firefighters.
