    Knowledge and practice of biosafety measures in the sterilization center of the Jaén General Hospital, 2023

    Nursing work implies a multiplicity of actions that seek to provide patients with a safe, reliable and humanized service, although this is not fully fulfilled, since the nurses who work within the sterilization center show limitations regarding knowledge and practice. of biosafety measures, a scenario that can expose patients to acquire a nosocomial infection and, with it, complicate their condition and proper recovery. OBJECTIVE: to determine how the knowledge and practice of biosafety measures are related in the sterilization center of the General Hospital Jaén, 2023. MATERIALS AND METHODS: it will be a quantitative, basic, correlational, cross-sectional, non-experimental inquiry. 46 nurses will participate. A questionnaire and an observation guide will be applied to measure the knowledge and practice variables respectively.
