Materials and methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, synthesizing the results of multiple primary investigations. They are an essential part of evidence-based nursing due to their rigorous methodology, identifying relevant studies to answer specific clinical practice questions. The search was restricted to full-text articles, and the selected articles underwent critical reading, using the Grade system to assign the strength of recommendations. Results: In the final selection, 10 articles were chosen. According to the results obtained from the systematic review, it was found that of the 10 reviewed articles, 40% reported that triage application is effective in reducing mortality rates in patients, 10% indicated that triage is ineffective, 30% showed that it helps in immediate action for injured patients, and 20% highlighted the importance of triage application in the healthcare field.
