    Tiempo de respuesta y calidad del registro de historias clínicas en un servicio privado de ambulancias, Lima 2022-2023

    Objective: The present study determines the relationship between response time and the quality of the registration of medical records in a private ambulance service in Lima during the period 2022-2023. Methodology: The research was of the applied type with a quantitative approach and a hypothetical-deductive method. The level was descriptive correlational and the design was non-experimental, cross-sectional. The population was 344 medical records that are part of the Private Ambulance Service in Lima, which represent the total records available from the beginning of 2022 to the last month of 2023, the sample being 182 medical records under a simple random probabilistic sampling. The technique used was the documentary analysis technique and the collection form was the instrument considered for both variables. Results: A statistically significant relationship was observed between both variables (p = .000), where the results indicate that 94.5% of the cases with poor response times also had a low quality in the registration of medical records. Conclusion: As poor response times occur, the recording of medical records presents a low quality.
