Ítem Acceso abierto Relationship between the perception of humanized nursing care and sociodemographic factors in hospitalized patients in a public hospital in Lima.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-02-26) Salinas Monserrate, Paola Liseth; Echevarría Anyosa, Luz María; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerObjective: To determine the relationship between the perception of humanized nursing care and socio-demographic factors in hospitalized patients in a public hospital in Lima. Materials and Methods: A descriptive, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and correlational quantitative study was conducted. The study sample consisted of 111 patients, and the data was collected using the "Perception of Humanized Nursing Care and Socio-Demographic Factors" (PCHE) instrument developed by Rivera and Triana in 2007. The instrument consists of 50 items and 8 socio-demographic factors, applied with prior informed consent. Results: Regarding the perception of humanized nursing care, 62% perceive it as good, 32% as excellent, 5% as regular, and 1% as poor. Regarding socio-demographic factors, the most prominent economic stratum was S/1,115 with 58%. Conclusion: There is no direct relationship between the perception of humanized nursing care and socio-demographic factors, except for the economic stratum.
