Estudio fitoquímico y determinación de la actividad antioxidante del extracto hidroalcohólico de las flores de Calceolaria rhaccodes Krazl "calceolaria"

Currently, many studies are being conducted on different medicinal plant species, as a large part of the population in various communities relies on traditional medicine to address health problems. The objective of this study was to determine the chemical constituents present in the hydroalcoholic extract of Calceolaria rhaccodes Krazl “calceolaria” (commonly known as Venus slipper, little shoe, capachito, virgin’s shoe, or calceolaria) and to evaluate its antioxidant activity. The species was collected in March 2013 in the district of Ayavi, Huaytara province, Huancavelica, at 3600 m a.s.l. Fresh flowers were macerated in hydroalcoholic solution, and phytochemical analysis revealed the presence of flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, quinones, carbohydrates, and reducing sugars. Thin-layer chromatography (TLC) was performed with the solvent system BuOH:CH₃COOH:H₂O (4:1:5 v/v/v). Antioxidant activity was evaluated using the DPPH method. The results confirmed that the hydroalcoholic extract of Calceolaria rhaccodes flowers contains important bioactive secondary metabolites and presents antioxidant activity, highlighting its potential as a source of natural therapeutic agents.

Funcionalidad familiar y calidad de vida en adolescentes estudiantes de una institución educativa pública del distrito de Carabayllo 2024

La presente investigación titulada: “Funcionalidad Familiar y Calidad de Vida en adolescentes de una Institución educativa del distrito de Carabayllo”, tendrá como objetivo establecer la relación existente entre las variables. Se empleó un enfoque cuantitativo y de tipo correlacional, no experimental y transversal. La población estuvo conformada por 210 alumnos adolescentes en tanto que muestra estuvo conformada por 136 alumnos adolescentes adscritos a la institución educativa pública, para la obtención de los datos, se empleara los instrumentos Escala de evaluación de cohesión y adaptabilidad familiar (FACES III) de Olson y Wilson (1985) adaptada al Perú por Bazo et al., (2016) y Escala de Calidad de Vida de Olson y Barnes (1982) adaptada al Perú por Grimaldo (2010).

Nivel de satisfacción y la calidad de atención percibida por el usuario externo en la cadena de boticas AFJA 2019

The research focuses on the level of satisfaction and quality of care of the AFJA pharmacy chain, in the district of San Juan de Miraflores in Lima, which aimed to determine the relationship between the level of satisfaction and the quality of care of the users who attended the AFJA pharmacy chain, during the period of months January - June of the year 2019, under an applied, observational, correlational methodology and non-experimental cross-sectional design. The population and sample of this study was 2,063 and 324 respectively. The quality of care variable was evaluated based on five dimensions: reliability, response attitude, tangibility, empathy and security; while the variable User satisfaction based on its cognitive and affective dimensions. Validated questionnaires based on the SERVQUAL model were used. The results indicated a high quality of care in 96.9% and a user satisfaction in a regular level in 63.9%. According to the Spearman correlation test, there is a direct significant correlation between both variables (0.150), this indicates that the level of satisfaction has a direct and low relationship with the perception of quality of care. In conclusion, if the quality of care is increased in the AFJA pharmacy chain in San Juan de Miraflores, it will also improve user satisfaction.
