Methodology: the study will be quantitative, the method to be used will be hypothetical-deductive, cross-sectional. Correlational design. Population: 80 nursing professionals. Instruments: to evaluate the level of knowledge of the personnel, a questionnaire applied by Ruiz 2021 will be applied, which consists of 20 items, validated by expert judgment and reliability by Cronbach's Alpha = 0.806. For the variable "nursing professional practices", an observation guide composed of 30 items will be used, which was validated by Ruiz 2021, by pilot test and reliability by Cronbach's Alpha of 0.895. Data collection will be carried out by means of the survey and observation technique. Data processing and analysis will be performed through statistical analysis and descriptive techniques expressed in percentages and inferential or descriptive statistics will be used for the correlation of variables, as appropriate.
