    Factores asociados en la falta de adherencia terapéutica en usuarios con diabetes mellitus que asisten a la botica Viafarma, en el distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho, 2022

    The objective of this study was to establish the factors associated with the lack of therapeutic adherence in users with diabetes mellitus who attend Botica Viafarma, in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho, 2022. The research method was deductive, with a quantitative approach, and classified as basic research, under a non-experimental, cross-sectional design with a descriptive level. The study population consisted of users attending Botica Viafarma, located in San Juan de Lurigancho, Lima. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, resulting in a sample of 127 users who met such conditions. The instruments applied were a questionnaire developed by Aguilar and the Morisky-Green Questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and the SPSS software were used for data processing. The study concludes that the factors associated with the lack of therapeutic adherence in users with diabetes mellitus attending Botica Viafarma in San Juan de Lurigancho, 2022, were sociodemographic (sex and educational level), disease-specific (duration of the disease), lifestyle-related (dietary habits and physical activity, such as meat consumption and sedentary behavior), and treatment-related (type of treatment and duration of use).
