A continuación, será evaluado la relación entre ambas variables mediante el coeficiente de Spearman que dará respuesta a la hipótesis planteada.Ítem Acceso abierto Self-care ability and coping process in patients undergoing hemodialysis through a central venous catheter at Benedicto Clinic 2017.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017) Escobar Palomino, Joany Jacqueline; Manhualaya Tapia, Nayda; Chávez Flores, Erik MarioObjective: To determine the relationship between Self-care Capacity and Coping Process of patients undergoing hemodialysis via central venous catheter (CVC), treated at the Benedicto XVI Clinic, 2017. Materials and Methods: The study conducted is of a descriptive correlational type and cross-sectional design. The population consisted of 34 patients with a central venous catheter who receive periodic hemodialysis at the Benedicto XVI clinic three times a week. Data collection was carried out using a survey technique and a scale instrument for both variables. The instrument used for the Self-care variable was validated by Esther Gallegos and is called the Self-care Agency Scale (ASA), and for the Coping variable, the instrument was validated and designed by Calixta Roy, the Coping Adaptation Processing Scale (CAPS). Results: The results showed that of the total participants (N=34), 68% (23) of patients have a medium self-care capacity, 23% (8) have high self-care capacity, and 9% (3) have low self-care capacity. Coping process: 62% (21) have high coping capacity, and 38% (9) have medium coping capacity. The analysis of the results and the hypothesis verification through the Spearman correlation statistical test, where the p-value is 0.000. Conclusion: It is concluded that there is a relationship between self-care capacity and coping process; the higher the self-care capacity, the better the coping process.Ítem Acceso abierto Self-care ability and coping process in patients undergoing hemodialysis through a central venous catheter at Benedicto Clinic 2017.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017) Escobar Palomino, Joany Jacqueline; Manhualaya Tapia, Nayda; Chávez Flores, Erik MarioObjective: To determine the relationship between Self-care Capacity and Coping Process of patients undergoing hemodialysis via central venous catheter (CVC), treated at the Benedicto XVI Clinic, 2017.
