Ítem Acceso abierto Efficacy of acetaminophen in promoting closure of patent ductus arteriosus in premature newborns(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017-11-12) Celis Perez, Rosario Del Pilar; Espil Sanchez, Sarita Milena; Bonilla Asalde, César AntonioMaterials and methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review. The search was restricted to full-text articles, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading using the GRADE system to assign the strength of recommendation. A total of 10 articles were selected, with 30% (3) from Turkey, 20% (2) from Italy, and 10% (1) each from Ecuador, Mexico, India, Ireland, and China, respectively. The majority of the studies reviewed were randomized controlled trials, accounting for 80%, primarily from Turkey, India, Ireland, China, Italy, Mexico, and Ecuador. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses were found from Italy, Turkey, and China, accounting for 20%. Results: 30% (3) of the articles showed that the safety profiles of paracetamol and ibuprofen are similar, 20% (2) of the articles demonstrated that paracetamol can be a medical alternative in the treatment of ductus closure. 80% (8) of the articles showed that intravenous paracetamol, compared to intravenous indomethacin, is more effective in promoting closure of the patent ductus arteriosus in premature newborns. Conclusions: The reviewed studies showed that the use of acetaminophen is a promising and safe alternative for the treatment of patent ductus arteriosus in premature newborns.Ítem Acceso abierto Management of Human Talent and Work Performance of Health Workers at the Rimac Maternal and Child Center, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-11-30) Espil Sanchez, Sarita Milena; Hermoza Moquillaza, Rocío VictoriaObjective: Identify the relationship between human talent management and the work performance of health workers at the Rímac Maternal and Child Center, 2023. Materials and methods: Quantitative approach study, non-experimental correlationalcross-sectional design. It had a population of 181 health workers and a sample of 123 final participants. The survey was applied as a technique and 2 questionnaires were used to collect the information: the human talent management questionnaire with 28 statements and 5 dimensions and the job performance questionnaire with 16 statements and 3 dimensions. Results: Regarding the analysis of the general hypothesis, it was found that there is a significant relationship between human talent management and job performance (p<0.05). According to the specific hypotheses, there was a significant relationship between recruitment and job performance (p<0.05), between selection and job performance (p<0.05), between training and job performance (p<0.05), between reward and job performance (p<0.05) and finally, between performance evaluation and job performance (p<0.05). Conclusions: A relationship was reported between the central variables of the study (p<0.05). In the specific hypotheses, there was a significant relationship in all of them.
