Publicación Acceso abierto Prescripción médica y el consumo de antibióticos de usuarios en la farmacia, Hospital EsSalud Alberto Sabogal Sologuren, distrito de Bellavista Lima Metropolitana, 2021–2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-10-07) Espinal Sánchez, Eiyadeé Ermilda; Lluen Llontop, Yassury Jannet; Llahuilla Quea, José AntonioThe objective of this project was to determine the relationship between medical prescribing and antibiotic consumption among users at the pharmacy of the Alberto Sabogal Sologuren EsSalud Hospital, 2021–2022. The study utilized a quantitative approach, a hypothetical-deductive method, a basic type with a descriptive-correlational level, and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The study was applied to a population of 95 users of the hospital pharmacy. Two questionnaires were used, which showed a reliability of 0.863 for medical prescribing and 0.884 for antibiotic consumption. Results: Medical prescribing was found to be at a deficient level in 14.7% of cases, a regular level in 50.5%, and an optimal level in 34.7%. Furthermore, antibiotic consumption was inadequate in 46.3% of cases and adequate in 53.7%. Conclusion: It was determined that medical prescribing and antibiotic consumption among users at the pharmacy of the Alberto Sabogal Sologuren EsSalud Hospital, 2021–2022, are directly related with a correlation coefficient of 0.722, which is considered moderate and significant at 0.000.
