Ítem Acceso abierto Application of biosecurity measures for nursing personnel against biological risks present in the surgical center service of EsSalud, Cañete, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-03-07) Espinoza Cardenas, Lucia del Rosario; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaNursing is the profession that cares for all phases of a human being's life, but it is in the Surgical Center where they are most vulnerable and where physical integrity must prevail reciprocally, which is why they are exposed to the transmission of microorganism, directly or indirectly, which must be protected with biological, physical and chemical barriers. Although national and international organizations have established biosafety measures for work practices, risks continue to increase. Objective: Determine the application of the biosafety measures of Nursing Personnel against the Biological Risks present in the Surgical Center service, of ESSALUD - Cañete, 2021. Methodological Design: It has a quantitative approach, it will be descriptive, a non-experimental, prospective and finally cross-sectional design. We will begin to collect data, once the COVID-19 pandemic is stable and controlled in our country, the procedures related to authorization will be implemented. The following aspects were considered in the study: conventional data, taking into account its classification in 3 dimensions, including physical barriers, chemical barriers and elimination of sharp and/or contaminated materials.
