For which a theoretical framework has been structured, a bibliographic review design on aspects related to the study variables Objective: To identify the relationship between quality of life and coping strategies in patients with Breast Cancer undergoing outpatient chemotherapy Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen National Hospital - 2021 Methods: The design of this research will be cross-sectional, descriptive, correlational. The population will basically be made up of cancer patients who are treated and undergo outpatient chemotherapy, regardless of the state of the disease, in addition, for the study it will be necessary to obtain a random sample, due to a limited population, therefore, 80 patients will be effective. In terms of sampling, under the qualities of the research design, and especially the sample size, no sampling will be applied. The technique to be used is the survey and for this the instrument will be "The EORTC QLQ-C30 questionnaire version 3", it has 30 items divided into global health / quality of life scales, which are nothing less than five functional scales. It will have a basic structure that includes 30 items that are divided into a global health / quality of life scale, in 5 functional scales "(physical, daily activities, emotional, cognitive and social role)" as well as three symptom scales "(fatigue, pain and nausea / vomiting)" finally an item that corresponds to and evaluates additional symptoms "(dyspnea, loss of appetite, insomnia, constipation and diarrhea)" and the economic impact, which will collect data to be processed through non-parametric tests to identify the relationship between both variables Quality of life and coping strategies of the patient with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy.
