Publicación Acceso abierto Cumplimiento de buenas prácticas de prescripción en recetas medicas dispensadas en el hospital del distrito de Mala, provincia Cañete – Lima, noviembre 2021 a marzo 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-07-09) Eulogio Castillo, Katherine Zulay; Ñañez del Pino, DanielThe objective was to determine compliance with good prescribing practices in medical prescriptions dispensed at the hospital in the Mala district from November 2021 to March 2022. Method: This study used a quantitative approach, a basic type, a non-experimental design, and a cross-sectional level. A total of 384 prescriptions were used for the study because they met the inclusion criteria. A checklist was used for data collection. Results: In Dimension 1, compliance was 52% for full name, 74% for professional registration number, 95% for signature, and 97% for stamp. In Dimension 2, 69% complied with full name and 75% with diagnosis. In Dimension 3, compliance was 75% for INN, 43% for concentration, 72% for pharmaceutical form, 69% for dose, and 74% for route of administration. In Dimension 4, compliance was 26% for legible handwriting, 72% for issuance date, and 22% for validation date. In Dimension 5, compliance was 72% for patient data, 61% for prescriber data, and 88% for medication data. In Dimension 6, compliance was 75% for INN, 56% for correct dose, and 61% for treatment duration. Conclusion: Good prescribing practices are not being followed at the hospital in the Mala-Cañete district, and improvements should be made for correct prescribing.
