Quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction in the hemodialysis unit of the IGSA Medical Services clinic, 2021

Objective: Determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction in the hemodialysis unit of the Igsa medical services clinic during the period 2021. Methodology: Quantitative, non-experimental, correlational approach. Sample population: 80 patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment, including ESSalud, SIS and individuals. Instrument: The quality of nursing care will be measured with the modified CARE Q instrument, and consists of 35 items, ordered and divided into its 6 dimensions. To measure patient satisfaction, the SERVQHOS questionnaire modified by Castro in 2017 will be used. The validation of the instrument obtained a Pearson correlation value of less than 0.05 for each item, evaluating three dimensions, using the Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. a reliability of 0.91 Data processing and analysis plan: The data will be coded and entered in the Excel program, for subsequent export to the SPSS statistical software for data processing and analysis. Statistical analysis: An inferential statistical analysis will be carried out, by applying the Spearman correlation coefficient (rho), giving us the level of significance expressed with the value p < 0.05 and 95% confidence, which will allow us to reject the null hypothesis.
