Cervicovaginal infection was present in 54.7%. Multiparity was observed in 64.2% of patients. A total of 61.3% had more than six prenatal check-ups. The average gestational age was 34-36 weeks. The most frequent maternal complications were chorioamnionitis and cesarean delivery, at 28.3%. The most frequent perinatal complication was respiratory distress syndrome (67.9%), followed by sepsis (58.5%). Conclusions: The most frequent maternal complication was chorioamnionitis, while the most frequent perinatal complication was respiratory distress syndrome.
