    Conocimiento del código de ética y comportamiento laboral de servidores públicos de una municipalidad distrital de Lambayeque, Perú 2024

    The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between knowledge of the code of ethics and the workplace behavior of public servants in a district municipality of Lambayeque, Peru. The methodology used was the hypothetico-deductive method with a quantitative approach. The research had a basic non-experimental design, was cross-sectional, and had a correlational scope. The population consisted of 250 employees from the municipality of Lambayeque, the sample consisted of 152 employees, and the sampling was probabilistic. The technique used was a survey, using a questionnaire validated by five experts with a reliability of 0.931. For the knowledge of the code of ethics questionnaire and for the workplace behavior questionnaire, the value was 0.934. Regarding the results, a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.983 was found between both variables, indicating a very high positive correlation. Regarding the significance level, a p-value of 0.000 is reported, concluding that there is a very significant and positive relationship between knowledge of the code of ethics and workplace behavior, suggesting that greater employee knowledge of the code of ethics is associated with better behavior in their workplace.
