The aim is to determine the level of job satisfaction of nursing professionals working in the emergency service of an Essalud hospital. Materials and methods. This research will have a quantitative approach in terms of methodological design. It will be a descriptive and cross-sectional study. The population will consist of 60 nurses who work in the emergency service and who were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria set out in this research. An inclusion criterion is those nurses who work for at least 6 months in the emergency area. The technique to be used will be the Survey, a technique that allows us to have data in an optimal and efficient way. To measure job satisfaction, the instrument "Job Satisfaction Scale Test (SL-SPC)" by psychologist Sonia Palma Carrillo will be used, revalidated in 2011 with a reliability of 0.86. This consists of 36 items associated in 7 dimensions that will give as final scores: High satisfaction, Partial satisfaction, Regular satisfaction, Partial dissatisfaction and High dissatisfaction.
