The methodology: hypothetical deductive method, nonexperimental cross-sectional design, quantitative approach, applied type, descriptive correlational; the sample will consist of 42 nursing professionals from the intensive care unit, Hospital Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen, 2022, the instruments used for the research work will be; A questionnaire for the knowledge variable and an observation guide for the practical variable on the prevention of pressure injuries, which are already validated and with high reliability, for the collection of information will last approximately 25 minutes, for each participant, for the analysis and interpretation will be used frequency tables. Likewise, for the contracting of the hypothesis, the normality test will be used and it will be decided which statistic will be used.
