    Análisis de la utilización de ceftriaxona inyectable en Lima Metropolitana de enero 2019 hasta diciembre 2020

    The present research had as its general objective to determine the consumption of ceftriaxone in public hospitals and pharmacy groups of Metropolitan Lima during the period from January 2019 to December 2020. The method was analytical with a quantitative approach, descriptive type, non-experimental, observational, cross-sectional, and retrospective design. The population corresponds to the consumption in units of ceftriaxone in the public and private sectors of Metropolitan Lima. The technique used was observation, for which a data collection sheet was applied as the instrument. It was concluded that the average consumption of ceftriaxone units was higher in the public sector, with a total of 1,198,386 units. Within the public sector, MINSA showed the highest consumption during the period from January to December 2020, while in the private sector, Boticas Perú prevailed in the period from August to September.
