    Coping ability and quality of life in patients with chronic renal failure in hemodialysis at a private clinic, Lima 2023

    Introduction: People suffering from chronic kidney disease and receiving hemodialysis treatment require a significant level of resilience and expert coping mechanisms. This is due to the multitude of symptoms they will encounter, which will negatively impact their quality of life, as well as their physical, psychological, emotional and social well-being. Objective: "To determine how coping capacity is related to quality of life in patients with chronic renal failure on hemodialysis". Methodology: Hypothetico-deductive method, non-experimental design, quantitative, descriptive method, applied correlation method, cross-sectional method; the census sample will be made up of 75 patients and the tool used for the research work will be the "Coping Capacity Questionnaire-revised". "Coping Strategies", and the modified SF-36 questionnaire that measure the quality of life, has been validated with a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.976; while the reliability of the questionnaire "Quality of Life "Questionnaire was 0.966, the reliability of both instruments is high and the data collection takes about 30 minutes for the participants.
