Ítem Acceso abierto Job stress and coping strategies of emergency nursing staff in a private clinic, Lima – 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-06-23) Gómez Rodríguez, Evanyeli del Carmen; Montoro Valdivia, Marcos AntonioWork-related stress is an omnipresent reality in numerous professional settings, and the nursing field is no exception. Nursing professionals face a series of physical, emotional, and mental challenges in their daily routines, which can lead to significant levels of stress. In this context, developing effective coping strategies is essential to help them manage stress and maintain a balance between their work and personal lives. The research will be hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, applied, non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional. The population will include 80 professionals working in the emergency service of a private clinic, and the sample will encompass the entire population. The data collection technique will be surveys. To evaluate the variable "work-related stress," the questionnaire adapted by Castro in 2021, with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.905, will be applied. For the variable "coping strategies," the questionnaire used by Cruz in 2023, with a Cronbach's Alpha reliability of 0.893, will be utilized. Data processing will be carried out using descriptive techniques and frequency percentages. Statistical analysis will be conducted based on the data distribution, employing statistical tests such as Spearman’s correlation.
