Ítem Acceso abierto Work stress and emotional intelligence in nursing graduates of the emergency service, in a national hospital, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-02-05) Galvez Espinoza, Milagros; Palomino Taquire, RewardsIntroduction: Stress at work is due to the fact that the vast majority of nurses carry a great emotional responsibility in their work environment, and through Emotional Intelligence it is about maintaining holistic care, without neglecting management. of emotions with empathy for the benefit of the patient. Objective: To determine the relationship between work stress and emotional intelligence in nursing graduates in the service of emergency of a public hospital in Lima, 2022. Methods: hypothetical deductive, quantitative, applied, correlational and cross-sectional study. The census sample will consist of 140 nursing graduates who work in the emergency service of a Hospital in Lima. The survey will be used and a questionnaire as an instrument, the first instrument Maslach Burnout Inventor, consists of 22 questions with 4 options (Likert scale), presents three dimensions, the second instrument to measure the level of emotional intelligence was the Scale "Trait Meta Modified Fernández y Ramos Mood Scale –TMMS 24”, measured on a Likert scale from 1 to 4, consists of 20 items that are distributed in 3 dimensions, both validated and reliable instruments to measure the variables in question. The data collected will be processed using SPSS 25 and Spearman's correlation coefficient will be used to test the hypotheses.
