Publicación Acceso abierto Inteligencia espiritual asociada al estrés percibido por enfermeros de una institución hospitalaria de Lima, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-01-31) Gamonal Mosaurieta, Yessenia Lizeth; Patricio Verano, Lucero del Carmen; Millones Gomez, Segundo GermanObjective: To determine the association between the spiritual intelligence and the stress perceived by nurses in the hospital institution of Lima, 2023.Material and Methods: The hypotheticaldeductive method was used with a quantitative approach, correlational level and cross-sectional, the population was 425 nursing professionals to whom probabilistic sampling was applied integrating 202 study subjects; The selected technique was the survey, applying two instruments validated in our country, the Spiritual Intelligence in Health Practice Scale (IEPS) and the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) with Cronbach's Alpha values of 0.90 and 0.82, respectively. , which determined its reliability. Results: The nurses from 31 to 40 years had the majority of anticipation, the 77.2% surveyed were woman, 62.9 % population surveyed had from 1 to 10 years of professional services time. Related to spiritual intelligence, 52.5 %presented an unhealthy level, 26.2% got the healthy level and 21.3% a level to improve, while that 72.3% present middle stress, 25.2% low stress and 2.5% high stress. Conclusions: There is an opposite association and weak between two variables (Rho de Spearman de -247; p=>0.01), therefor there is an inverse association between spiritual intelligence and stress perceived by nurses in hospital institution in Lima, 2023.
