    Effectiveness of parenting training programs on positive parenting practices to reduce behavioral problems in children under 11 years old

    Objective: Systematize evidence on the effectiveness of parent training programs on positive parenting practices to reduce behavioral problems in children under 11 years of age. Methodology: Systematic review of 10 selected articles on the effectiveness of training programs aimed at parents on positive parenting to reduce behavioral problems in children, located in the following databases: Pubmed, Lilacs, Sciencedirect, Redalyc, Scielo, Cochrane, and Epistemonikos. Results: Of the 10 articles reviewed, 90% (9/10) demonstrate that parent training programs on positive parenting practices are effective in reducing behavioral problems in children, 10% (1/10) showed that programs achieve favorable modification in behavioral problems in children with a non-significant effect of parent training programs on positive parenting practices. Conclusion: of the 10 articles reviewed, 9 out of 10 show effectiveness of parent training programs on positive parenting practices in reducing problems related to behavior in children, 1 out of 10 shows insignificant effectiveness of parenting programs. Training parents on positive parenting practices to reduce behavioral problems in children.
