Ítem Acceso abierto Family functionality and treatment adherence in patients with drug-sensitive pulmonary tuberculosis treated at health facilities in the San Martin de Porres district - 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-07-24) García Morales, Diana Carolina; Pérez Siguas, Rosa EvaObjective: Determine family functionality and adherence to treatment in patients with sensitive pulmonary tuberculosis treated in health facilities in the district of San Martín de Porres, 2019. Methodology: A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out. The study population consisted of 189 patients with susceptible pulmonary tuberculosis. The survey was used as a technique and two validated questionnaires were used as instruments, the Morisky Green test and the family Apgar, instruments that measured adherence to treatment and family functionality, respectively. Results: Family functionality resulted in good functionality with 10.1%; followed by mild dysfunction with 36.5%; moderate dysfunction with 38.6%; and severe dysfunction with 14.8%. Regarding the dimensions, the most affected were adaptation with 9.5% and resources with 9%. Adherence to treatment in patients with tuberculosis resulted in 10.1% adherence and 89.9% non-adherence. Conclusions: Patients with tuberculosis perceive family dysfunction in all its dimensions and are not adherent to treatment.Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge and application of nursing biosafety principles in the HEAV surgical center - Lima 2022.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-07-03) García Morales, Diana Carolina; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaThe nursing professional will perform administrative work, in research work, in teaching and also in care, they face a series of risks and also dangers at the time of care. The Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and applications of the nursing biosafety principle in the HEAV Lima 2022 surgical center. Materials and methods: a quantitative correlational study. The population will be finite and will consist of a total of 80 nurses who work in the surgical center area. In data collection, surveys and observations of biosafety measures that will be applied to the nurse belonging to the surgical center will be used as techniques using two instruments that were validated. For the responses to the hypothesis that were raised, quantitative measurement will be made with inferential statistical analysis with Spearman's Rho correlation tests, in determining the prediction or behavior of the phenomenon or problem posed, thus stipulating the relationship or not of the study variables. Throughout the research, research conduct will be maintained in accordance with ethical principles.
