Methodology: A systematic, retrospective review synthesizing research relevant to nursing, based on evidence that addresses our research question. The GRADE system was used to assign the strength of recommendations. Results: Ten scientific articles were selected, with 30% from Peru, another 30% from Mexico, 20% from Spain, and 10% from Colombia and Chile. The selected articles were mostly quasi-experimental, with 40% from Mexico, Colombia, and Peru; pre-experimental studies (20%) from Spain and Peru; systematic reviews (10%) from Spain; controlled trials (10%) from Mexico; experimental studies (10%) from Mexico; and quasi-experimental studies (10%) from Chile. These studies indicate that educational interventions are highly effective for school-age children, enhancing their knowledge of healthy eating.
