The study had a quantitative, correlational, observational, applied cross-sectional approach, since analyzes the relationship between two variables and the effect of one on the other. The survey was applied as an instrument, applied to 80 nurses who work in the emergency service. To measure the variable level of knowledge, the instrument adapted by Reyes in 2021 was used, likewise to measure the practical variable of pulmonary cardo resuscitation, the instrument was taken and modified by Córdoba. The data were analyzed using the SPSS version 25 statistical program. Speaman's Rho statistic was used to test the planned hypotheses. A significant relationship (p<0.02) was found between the level of knowledge and the chest compressions dimension with the practice of cardiopulmonary resuscitation with a moderate level of association.Ítem Acceso abierto Sleep quality and its relationship with academic performance among secondary school students at the Túpac Amaru school, 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-08-28) Garcia Arimuya, Dianely; Fuentes Siles, María AngélicaObjective: Determine the quality of sleep and its relationship with academic performance in secondary education students of the Túpac Amaru 2020 school. Material and method: According to its tendency, the present study has a quantitative approach, non-experimental cross-sectional correlational design, the population was made up of 112 students. The technique used was the survey. The instrument used was a Pittsburg sleep quality index test (ICSP), which contains 10 items. Results: It was found that 50.1% of students at the Túpac Amaru secondary school in 2020 have poor sleep quality, and only 49.9% of students have good sleep quality. It is concluded that 55.4% of said school have a good academic performance, 37.5% have a regular average, 5.45% have outstanding performance and only 1.8% have a failing performance. Poor sleep quality predominated in students, rejecting the affirmative hypothesis because there is no statistically affirmative relationship between these variables. Conclusion: It was determined that the quality of sleep in the students is evidenced as poor at the Túpac Amaru school.
